No signal to monitor after installing new ram

Hi,

I have recently bought some new ram for my asus M4N68T-M motherboard that was recommended after I did scan, the ram I bought was 2x4gb ddr3-1333 (pc3 10600) UDIMM 1.35v 240pin but when I install it and turn PC on it powers up but nothing happens, screen stays blank and mouse and keyboard also has no signal being sent to them. When I put the old 2x2gb sticks back in its fine. I'm also running windows 7 home edition 64bit operating system.

Any help would be much appreciated.
